Creative EXHAUSTION!!!

So I seem to have caught quite a nasty cold. Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, congestion, headache, plugged ears- the whole package! UGH! Last night I tried to have a nice relaxing bath with some 'vapour bath' bubbles. I grabbed a towel, my bath pillow, a good book, a glass of juice, and hopped in! What do you know, NO HOT WATER! The time that I am looking forward to a hot, relaxing, nasal-clearing bath the most, someone's used all the hot water. Luckily, my amazing husband filled our stock pot with water and boiled it on the stove, then added it to my lukewarm bath for me. Unfortunatly, by this time the water in the tub had cooled enough, that the hot water only stayed hot for about 10 minutes. Oh, well, lesson learned. Test the running water BEFORE you walk away!
While suffering from this rediculous cold, I have had some revelations I thought I would share- (completely unrelated to my cold, however). Lol!
1. I am completely anti-Beiber.
Glee being one of our favorite shows, we were excited to watch the new episode on Tuesday night. Not only was the episode itself, slightly dissappointing, we had to suffer through an hour of Justin Beiber songs.
2. BYOB (bring your own booze) is no longer an option for our reception this summer. What ever happened to having a 'controlled' drinking environment, and allowing people to bring their own booze of choice?
3. I am completely addicted to reality tv. The first episode of Survivor Redemption Island was great!
4. Winter is not yet gone. As I am blogging today, the wind is blowing, the snow is falling, and it is bitterly cold!
5. Stress is inevitable, and doesn't stop because you have a cold!
So, as I attempt to ' power-through' this cold, and the exhaustion that came with it, I will do my best to keep up with my blog! :)

  1. I totally know the feeling... How often does the hot water run out of an apartment building with 4 massive tanks? Answer: Only when I was sooooo looking forward to a nice hot shower. Hope you are feeling better by now!
